After family friends asked me to house sit for them every winter, I found my house-sitting business started to spread like wildfire. Before I knew it, I was house sitting all year round. Next, I was asked to take on the feeding of some horses down the road from where I keep my horse. Through word of mouth, I was pet- and house-sitting so much it became a part-time job. So the next step was to make up business cards and place them around local business. Now my days are packed with many animals to love and care for. My current horse, Royal Guardian aka "Gabe", is an 10-year-old Dutch Warmblood/TB cross. In April 2010, it will be 3 years that I have Gabe. My previous horse was a Dutch Warmblood named Mitchell. After dealing with his challenging personality for 2 1/2 years, I decided to sell him last February of 2007. Before selling him, we were LVDA Champions in 2006 and competed on the LVDA Adult Team. I still own my very first horse, JR, who is now 22 and retired and is living on a wonderful farm in Vera Cruz. My mom also has 3 dogs that I help look after. I own 4 cats one I adopted from Forgotten Felines and Fido’s in December of 2006, named River, a stray that showed up one day named, Phoeix and my boyfriends 2 Mama & Fud. I have over 23 years of experience and knowledge of a variety of domestic and farm animals.
